What the store pages say about price and cost

Price at a glance
Store pages say very little about money, and this page reads all of it. On 6 November 2026 this desk read the price line, the currency and the description of 4 listings in Nigeria and quoted every sentence that touches a fee, a deposit, a spread or a cost. The table is the reading; the text says what it does and does not show.
The download price and the words about cost
Price and currency as each page states them, then how often cost words occur in each description. Pages read here: MetaTrader 4 and 5 in Nigeria.

The price of the download
On 6 November 2026 MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading on Google Play has a price of 0 in NGN; MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks on Google Play has a price of 0 in NGN; MetaTrader 4 on the App Store is “Free” and the page shows no in-app purchases shelf; MetaTrader 5 on the App Store is “Free” and the page shows no in-app purchases shelf.
The word free on a store page answers one question only: does the install cost money? Whether a deposit, a trade or a withdrawal costs money is not a question the page answers.
The currency the store names
The Google Play data names NGN on 2 pages. It is the currency in which the store would show a price, so a price of 0 is 0 in that currency. The App Store pages read here show the price as the word Free. Neither store says anything about the currency in which an account is held.
What the descriptions say about cost
This is the part of each description that touches money, quoted as printed. MetaTrader 4 Forex Trading (Google Play), MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks (Google Play), MetaTrader 4 (App Store) and MetaTrader 5 (App Store) have no sentence in their descriptions that mentions a fee, a deposit, a withdrawal, a payment, a spread, a commission or a cost.
These are the developers' own words. A line such as “no fees” on a store page is the developer's statement about its own listing; the page does not show the terms behind it, and this site could not read the broker's fee pages to compare.
Size is a cost too
MetaTrader 4 asks for 21.8 MB of storage and iOS 13.0 or later. MetaTrader 5 asks for 36.7 MB of storage and iOS 15.0 or later. For a reader on a metered connection, the size of the first download is the one cost the store page does state. Play web pages read here show no size, so no figure is given for them.
What the broker's own pages could and could not give
The broker's own fee and funding pages could not be read from the server this site reads from: its front page, FAQ and About page answered HTTP 403 on 6 November 2026, and nothing further was asked of that host. The only broker page this site quotes is its public text file, www.fxpro.com/llms.txt, read on 6 November 2026. It describes the FxPro Mobile App as one with “includes CFD trading, account management, in-app deposits/withdrawals, economic calendar, and push notifications”; it gives no fee, no limit and no processing time.
How to put the figures on this page to use
The only money fact a store page states is the price of the download, and it is zero. Everything that decides what a deposit or a withdrawal costs sits in documents shown to an account holder: the funding methods available in your country, any fee of the broker, any fee of your bank or wallet provider, and the exchange rate applied when your currency is converted. Before sending money, ask for those terms in writing, and compare the total sent with the total that arrives.
What this page does not do
It does not give a cost, because none could be read. It does not estimate a cost from the word “free”. It does not say that any funding method is cheap or expensive. And it does not suggest that a fee will be absent because a description says so; the description is the developer's statement, printed on a store page, and this site reports it as such.

An app listing is not an account
A store listing describes software. An account is a contract with a firm, opened through identity checks and governed by rules no app shows. Before deciding anything, read the broker page and keep to money you can afford to lose.
